No Thanks! Tutorial
At the start of the game a deck of numbered cards (3 - 35) is shuffled and nine cards are removed. Each player is given 11 tokens and a starting player is choosen. Then the first card is turned over.
The player now has two options, they can either pay a token or take the card. If they pay the token goes into the kitty and it becomes the next player's turn. If they take the card it is placed in front of them, and they get all the tokens in the kitty too, then a new card is turned over and it is still their go.
The rules may be simple but the choices aren't because nobody wants cards. At the end of the game (when the last card has been taken) you get points for the cards in front of you, minus points for any tokens still in your hand, and the person with the fewest points wins.
However there is one twist, if you have a run of cards (even just a run of two) you only get points for the lowest card in that run. So if you have the 34 and 36 cards, you do actually want the 35 card as it would take your score from 34+36=70 to just 34. The question is do you pass on it anyway and hope it comes back to you with a few more tokens on it?
